Making of M&G Garden
The M&G Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show has been awarded the top honour of the Gold medal as well as the Best in Show award and Best Construction award. We are so proud to have formed part of this amazing team.
The Garden took a whole year of planning and production. The stone was quarried in Malta and Gozo and eventually fabricated in Halmann Vella’s stone processing facility in Hal Far. During this process, James Basson the designer of the garden and Mark Fane, from the main contracting company Crocus, visited the company’s premises to supervise the process. The materials were packed and shipped to London, where a team of Halmann Vella employees, installed and finished the stone on site.
